Frequently Asked Questions

We have put together a list of our most frequently asked questions to give you more information about our services and offering. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, send us an email.

1. How often should I have my oven cleaned?

We would suggest every 3-6 months. Your cleaning frequency will also depend on how often you use your oven, your family size and types of foods you cook in your oven. If the oven roof is dirty and covered with an electric heating element, it is not always possible to get fully behind the element on some models without breaking it. We will try to clean the area carefully, but will not risk causing damage.

2. Do you have insurance?

Yes we do, we are fully insured to work in your home and on your appliance(s).

3. My oven has never been cleaned and is in a bad state, do you charge more?

No, we do not charge more. After close inspection we will be very honest with you from the start about the condition of your oven and what to expect from our cleaning process. We will do the very best we can and advise you for better results to have your oven cleaned more frequently.

4. Will you be using any strong industrial chemicals in my kitchen?

No we do not use any caustic products, we only use enamel safe eco-friendly products in your property which results in no toxic fumes or smells. 

As soon as we finish, you're more than welcome to start using your appliance. 

5. Will my oven smoke after its been cleaned?

Sometimes, yes—but it’s totally fine! We don’t use any harsh chemicals inside the oven, so if you see a bit of smoke, it’s most likely just a tiny bit of carbon on the heating element. Once it heats up, it’ll burn off and stop. No need to worry—it’s still safe to cook your food right away.

6. Parking Charges

Parking charges and congestion zone charges, will be payable by the customer, if applicable. Please advise in the notes of your booking so we can inform our technician.

7. What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Please allow at least 48 hours notice when cancelling appointments to enable other customers to benefit from our service. You will receive a full refund within 3-5 working days. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to or less than the value for appointments not kept. Please call us to cancel your booking and refer to our Terms & Conditions here
